I was born May 14th at 4:14 am. I started giving mom contractions around 6 pm the day before, but she and dad waited until about 8 to leave for the hospital (jerks). The nurses monitored me for about two hours before admitting mom officially to the hospital. Apparently she was sick of my contractions because she got an epidural pretty dang soon after being admitted and she and dad even took a nap for a bit before the good stuff started to happen. Mom must have really wanted me here because she pushed really hard and 45 minutes later, I arrived! She had to stop midway because my umbilical cord was around my neck and the doctor had to clip it off really quick, but once that was clear I was outta there! I didn't get to see mom for about three hours because these respiratory people had to check me out for a while, but dad made sure to keep eyes on me until I got to meet mom. I think that lady loves me a lot.

I tend to scratch my face a lot so mom puts these mittens on me. I don't mind too much, but I do like it make it hard for the parentals to put them on. I've gotten really good at keeping one finger out. Suckers.

She is SO CUTE! Love all the cute expressions. Hope everything is going smoothly. We had Charlie and his mom at our house last week. Their A/C wasn't working and Daniel is in Oakland working on the temple. Sure was fun to have a little one - relatively speaking, as he's 14+ lbs now. Even though I'm not his mom and can't feed him, he does like me a lot.
